The Villa can be an ideal place to stay during the many events that take place in Umbria throughout the year; just to mention the most important ones of the warmer months:

On 15 May the “Corsa dei Ceri” takes place in Gubbio, a gorgeous medieval town only an hour away from the Villa. Originally a pagan tradition marking the beginning of spring and the renewal of the cycle of life, the Feast  got a religious significance since the Medievaltraditional festa dei ceri gubbio times, being a spectacular race in which three teams of young men devoted to S. Ubaldo (the patron saint of Gubbio), S. Giorgio, and S. Antonio, run through throngs of cheering supporters (clad in the distinctive colours of yellow, blue and black) up much of the mountain from the main square in front of the Palazzo dei Consoli to the basilica of S. Ubaldo, each team carrying a statue of their saint mounted on a wooden octagonal prism, similar to an hour-glass shape 4 meters tall and weighing about 280 kilograms. The race has strong devotional, civic, and historical overtones and is one of the best-known folklore manifestations in Italy; the Ceri were chosen as the heraldic emblem on the coat of arms of Umbria as a modern administrative region.

Springtime is a wonderful period to visit Umbria. From the 1st to the 5th of May, Assisi hosts the “Calendimaggio”, a re-enactment of its medieval past, where the entire city is lit by candlelight and everyone dresses in medieval garb. The ancient rivalry between the two sides of the town (the upper and the lower part) has now developed into a bloodless combat between the two factions, who, their former hatreds forgotten, now join together in peace and friendship to celebrate the annual miracle of the Return of Spring. The festival opens with the ceremonial handing over of the Keys of the City to the Master of the Field by the Major, who thus confers on him supreme authority for the duration of the celebrations. A lively contest of medieval games decides which of the lovely young damsels will be the Festival Queen, for the champion obtains the privilege of proclaiming his Lady "Madonna Primavera". In her honor the flag-wavers then put on an elegant display of their skill and the Minstrels sing some Troubadours songs.

In June, Spoleto hosts the “Festival Dei Due Mondi”. The Festival dei Due Mondi (Festival of the Two Worlds) is an annual summer music and opera festival dei Due Mondi Spoletofestival held each June to early July since its founding by composer Gian Carlo Menotti in 1958. It features a vast array of concerts, opera, dance, drama, visual arts and roundtable discussions on science. For some time it became a reference point for modern sculpture exhibits, and works of art left to the city by Alexander Calder and others are a testimony to this. The "Two Worlds" in the name of the festival comes from Gian Carlo Menotti's intention to have the worlds of American and European culture facing each other in this event and offers an array of cultural and shopping opportunities. It culminates with a concert in the stunning main piazza of Spoleto.

In early July Perugia becomes the stage for Umbria Jazz Perugia the10-day Umbria Jazz festival, which has been held annually since 1973 and offers free concerts all over the center of the city. World-renowned musicians also give concerts at the festival in the arena near the center of the city. In the past these have included Diana Ross, Van Morrison, Elton John, James Brown and many others.
In addition, the Umbria Jazz Winter Festival takes place annually in the city of Orvieto in late December and early January.

Umbrian Musical FestivalDuring the first half of September the Umbrian Musical Festival takes place in Perugia and in some of the most beautiful towns of the region, proposing the rediscovery of famous and less famous works of classical composers, as well as some surprises. A spiritual festival as a musical journey, of deep beauty and elegance, uniting music with breathtaking towns.

In October,  there are some interesting cultural events in Trevi, like Ottobre Trevano (October in Trevi) with historical evocations, the Palio dei Terzieri, Medieval life Scenes and the Tour of Olive Mills which anticipates the production of the new Trevi Olive Oil. Trevi is a little medieval centre, situated between Foligno and Spoleto, few kilometres far from Assisi. The town is very characteristic, for its position on the top of a mountain in a spiral form and the visitor’s eye is caught by the grace of its position and by the architectonical structure.
